Excited to share an upcoming event hosted by the UCL Centre for Translation Studies (CenTraS)! The APTIS25 Online Conference, titled “Better Together: How can industry and academia collaborate to empower future language professionals?, will take place via Zoom on November 3–4, 2025.

This global event brings together educators, researchers, and industry professionals to explore how stronger academia-industry partnerships can better prepare the next generation of translators and interpreters. Topics will include professional wellbeing, resilience, ethics, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices in language services.
